Can I call in my order?   Yes, but I usually don't process the order til the next day.

Do I have to pay sales tax?  No, I live in Oregon where there is no sales tax.

How do I return an item?  In the unlikely event that you are unhappy with your purchase, you may return the item within 14 days for a full refund.  Shipping charges are non-refundable.  All returns must be in brand new condition with Gund tags still attached.  To return merchandise you MUST email me first at jansbearessentials@gmail.com to get the return approved.  I want my customers happy and don't want returns to be a hassle.   Obviously, if the item you received is damaged or if I sent the wrong item (heaven forbid), please contact me at once so I can arrange a return, refund or exchange.

When will my order be shipped?  The order will be shipped within 2 days from receipt of payment.  I ship through the US Post Office via parcel post, priority or express mail.  Of course, the faster you need the item, the more the shipping charges will be.   If you pre-order an item that hasn't arrived yet, your item will be shipped out as soon as it gets here.

How much does shipping cost?  Your shopping cart will show the shipping costs.   All items are shipped from Southern Oregon through the US Post Office.  All packages are insured.  International orders will be shipped by US Post Office Air Mail International unless they weigh over 4 pounds and then they will be shipped Priority International.  The total shipping is based on total weight of all items purchased unless going to different locations.   

When will I know when my order has been shipped?  You will be notified via e-mail when your item has been shipped with tracking information.  (No tracking is provided for International air mail).

Do you offer gift wrapping?  Not really.  But I can include a card with your purchase at no extra charge.  If this is a gift, please let me know and I will not include an invoice with pricing in the box.

Is it safe to use my credit card for purchases?  Yes.  Jan's Bear Essentials will not share or sell names or any other information about my on-line customers.  All on-line transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryptions.  When you enter your credit card number onto the order form, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it gets to my server.

What types of payment are accepted?  I accept payments through most credit cards and Paypal.  I can also accept money orders but any money order mailed to Jan's Bear Essentials will delay the shipment.

Will Call - I do allow orders to be picked up at my Grants Pass location.  There is no charge for will-call orders, but you need to contact me to arrange pick-up.

Lay-Away - I do have a lay-away plan.  One-third of the purchase price is due at the time of the order.  Balance is due within 4 mnths.  Of course your purchase will not be shipped out until full payment is received.  Please contact me if you are interested in lay-away to arrange payment options.

Coming Soon - I have added a category called "Coming Soon" where you can see all the soon-to-arrive plush that have been ordered.  These items are available for purchase now but are not scheduled to arrive for a few weeks or months.  I have added an estimated shipping date on each of those items.  These are normally new holiday or seasonal items which are ordered in limited quantities.  If you don't want to miss out, order them now.  New everyday items that are also on their way will be included in this category.

Pre-Ordering - A lot of my customers like to pre-order items that have not arrived yet.  Please be aware that when ordered, you are charged immediately.  The item is then reserved for you and when it arrives, it will be shipped out immediately.

International Buyers - Import duties, taxes and custom fees are not included in the item price or shipping.  These charges are the buyer's responsibility.  Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying.

First Class Mail International - This service is offered as a lower cost shipping option for international customers.  The delivery times can greatly vary and is not intended for time-sensitive orders.  The normal delivery time would be about 2 weeks but some countries have experiened up to 4-8 weeks.  Delivery can also vary during the holiday seasons.  This service might be a lower cost but does not provide any tracking.

Priority International - This is the quickest method for international orders but it can be pricey.  This method does, however, provide tracking.
